The exterior of these hoses are made of heavy duty PVC, which protects against germs and can withstand temperatures up to 350F. Coating will not hold a flame; blue color indicates braided connector. End fittings are made of carbon steel with a zinc and yellow dichromate coating. Ends are both male. These also come with the SnapFast one-handed quick disconnect assembly. These are made of a brass body with carbon steel threaded end fittings and aluminum collar. These units also come with the thermal shut-off feature, a polymer insert in the quick disconnect that melts when internal temperatures exceed 350 F, shut off the gas flow.
